It's that time of year again that so many of us look forward to! The heat of the summer has passed but the sun continues to shine and the water is so-oo nice and warm for swimming. Beginning in September, there is an event in Panama City Beach almost every weekend and it continues on into October!
Plan to take the kids to the "Pirates of the High Seas Festival". The festival will include an ensemble of parades and sword-swinging showdowns, ending with a fireworks display and pirates reenacting The Battle of the Seven Seas. This is a free festival and also includes a scavenger hunt, pirate invasions, a kids parade and live music. October 7-9, 2016
Camp Helen State Park is having their first Fall Festival on October 8th. There will be music, games, face painting, arts and crafts for the kids, cake walk and more! The Friends of Camp Helen State Park are hosting a Pumpkin Patch fund raiser and will have pumpkins for sale that day. There will also be food trucks, drinks and kettle popcorn available. Fun Times!
Ironman Florida is here November 5th! This is one of the most recognized endurance events in the world. The Ironman consists of a 2.4 mile swim, a 112 mile bike ride and a 26.2 mile run. This is such an exciting event in Panama City Beach!
The annual "Emerald Coast Cruizin" event at Aaron Bessant Park is a fun time for families and car lovers, alike. This attracts thousands of classic cars, hot rods, custom cars and trucks. Live music will also be provided during the event. November 7-12, 2016
This is such a fun time of year! Happy Fall Y'all!
